By using a client centred, multi-level approach and integrating exposure therapy, physical and mental coping strategies such as anxiety reappraisal techniques, reframing your thoughts and fears alongside CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy).

As a driver trainer I will ensure your driving is as competent and safe as it can be without overloading you.

You’ll keep a journal (provided by me) and log your journeys.

We’ll agree action plans and baby step targets to work towards.

We will work together, and you can check in with me in-between your on-road sessions so I can give advice and encouragement and metaphorical High Fives!

You’ll have access to an exclusive closed group of Facebook where clients can have discussion groups and share experiences.

How many sessions will it take?

That is dependent upon many things. How debilitating is your vehophobia, what your own aims and objectives are and how much time you can spare, budgets etc. Everyone is different.
The intro package includes: two sessions. All sessions will be between 1.5 to 2 hours (including briefings, summaries and action planning.) You’ll be provided with a journal for your record keeping).
Thereafter you can book individual sessions and have check-ins as regularly as your time and budget permits.
(This is why I have now introduced the journal keeping and facebook forum group).
